Copper Theft Reported in Orion Township

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies responded June 24 to the 4800 block of Joslyn Road in Orion Township for the theft of several copper coils, according to Sheriff's officials. 

According to the person making the report, the theft took place in the early morning of June 22. Deputies were able to view surveillance video, where they saw four people throwing copper coils over the fence into the adjacent yard.

Patrols of the area are now being conducted.
