Help Sought in IDing Man Accused in Thefts at School Building

Man accused of stealing computers and electronic devices from school building.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's help while investigating a theft that occurred at a Lake Orion Community Schools building on Scripps Road at the Lake Orion Community Schools Campus, according to Lt. Daniel Toth, Orion Township station commander.

According to Toth, several computers and electronic devices were stolen in early May from the building. Video surveillance captured images of a man in the building prior to the theft.

According to Toth, the man went through the school loading garbage bins with electronic devices belonging to the school district.

A silver in color Chevrolet HHR vehicle is believed to be involved in the incident. Investigators need assistance identifying the suspect in the photos included with this article.

The department also offered photos of the man's vehicle. Those who have information on this incident are urged to call the Sheriff's Office at (248) 858-4950.
