Lake Orion Residents See Power Restored

Lake Orion DTE Energy customers shared their outage and restoration experiences  Thursday on our Facebook page after storms knocked out power for roughly 2,800 households in the community. 

Readers responded to our question: Did you lose power in the storms? If so, what major crossroads do you live near?

Dayna Mattis: ours only went out for a minute! Joslyn and Indianwood

Jillian Nolan: We were out until 3 a.m. this morning. Indian Lake & Barr

Crissy Slocum Jurj: Miller and Conklin came back at 3 a.m. and then the fuse on the transformer blew. Estimated time now for us is midnight.

Annette Aluzzo Kingsbury: Off Orion Rd., 2 blocks south of Atwater. A tree fell on wires, snapping off a pole. Current DTE estimate is midnight.

Marilyn StJohn: 32 & Rochester. Power was restored early this morning.

Katie Chappus Shull: 32 & Rochester. Power came back at 3 a.m.

Claudine Lichok Higgins: Flint and M-24. Got it back today sometime. Hoping we don't lose it again tonight.
