Two big used book and media sales at Rochester Hills Public Library

Attention book buyers ---mark these buying opportunities!

Check out the next two big used book and media sales run by the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library.

First off is the Fall used book sale. Featuring tens of thousands of volumes and CDs/DVDs, it starts Oct. 16 at the library’s second floor used book room at 500 Olde Town Road in downtown Rochester.

Here are some details:

  • The preview for members of the Friends is Wednesday, October 16, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.(Memberships may be bought or renewed at the door; details at rhpl.org.)
  • Thursday, October 17th, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, October 18th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 19th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 20th, is Bag Day where a provided grocery bag can be filled for $5. from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. (Note that all hours differ from the library’s general hours of operation.)

Next up is the Friends of the RHPL Quality sale. Scheduled for December 5, 6 and 7, this event offers wonderful gifts at wonderfully low prices, just in time for the holidays. Throughout the year, the Friends group receives receive donations of items in like-new condition, often in their original wrap, and we save some of them for this special sale. There will be books, puzzles, games, DVDs, and CDs; as well as unique items that make great gifts. The sale will be held in the Library’s multipurpose room of the Rochester Hills Public Library. Again, note that the sale times differ slightly from the library’s general hours of operation.

Thursday, December 5: 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Friday, December 6: 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday, December 7: 9:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m.
