Canton Indoor Trampoline Park Hosts Fundraiser for Fallen Wayne-Westland Firefighter
Dearborn resident Brian Woehlke died in the line of duty on May 8 when a roof collapsed during a strip mall fire in Westland.

Sky Zone, Canton’s indoor trampoline park, will hold a fundraiser Tuesday to benefit the family of fallen Wayne-Westland Firefighter Brian Woehlke.
Woehlke, 29, died from injuries sustained while fighting a strip mall fire with the Wayne-Westland Fire Department on May 8.
“We actually had an employee and her husband is a (retired) firefighter,” said Sky Zone General Manager Kathy Llamas. “Of course, we were all touched by what happened. And it was just near and dear to her heart, so she asked us if we could do it, and of course we wanted to.”
The fundraiser will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will include 30-minute jumps for $10 and 60-minute jumps for $14.
Sky Zone will give up to $7 back per jumper to Woehlke’s wife Jennifer and their 13-month-old daughter, Ava.
Children 18 and under must have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Waivers can be completed and tickets can be purchased online at www.skyzone.com/canton.
Sky Zone is located at 42550 Executive Dr. in Canton.
