Canton Man to Have Day in Court Over Pizza Shop Burglaries

Spencer Jurcak Hall is accused of being behind a series of Jet's Pizza Shop break-ins in Canton and Plymouth townships.

A Canton man was ordered last week to stand trial in Wayne County Circuit Court in connection with a series of pizzeria break-ins he’s accused of committing, according to a Canton Observer report.

According to authorities, Spencer Jurcak Hall, 23, broke in to two Jet’s Pizza Shops in Canton and Plymouth townships last March, before being caught fleeing from the scene of an attempted burglary at a third Jet’s restaurant near Cherry Hill and Canton Center, the report stated.

Hall waived his preliminary hearing in 35th District Court on Friday and pleaded not guilty, the report stated. If convicted, Hall could face up to 10 years in prison, the report added.
