Canton Public Safety Issues Temporary Traffic Order for Soccer Tournament
The Canton Cup Soccer Tournament will be held May 24-25.
The speed limit on Denton Road will be temporarily changed to 25 miles per hour during the weekend of May 24-25 due to the Canton Cup Soccer Tournament, according to a press release from the Canton Public Safety Department.
The speed limit change will be in effect on Denton Road, 1,000 feet north of Proctor Road to 1,000 feet south of the southern boundary of Independence Park during the following times:
- May 24 from 4-9 p.m.
- May 25 from 7 a.m. -9 p.m.
- May 26 from 7 a.m. -2 p.m.
In addition, parking will be prohibited on the east side of Denton Road from Times Drive to Lansdowne.
