Last Chance for Tickets: Canton Grub Crawl
Annual event gives restaurateurs a chance to introduce new customers to their cuisine and gives residents a chance at a fun night out on the town.
Tickets are going fast for the Canton Grub Crawl tasting event, which gives 500 ticket-holders the chance to sample some of the best from 17 local restaurants and eateries.
The Crawl takes place from 6-10 p.m. Tuesday, July 22. Earlier this week, just over 100 tickets remained for event. Tickets are $35.

Sponsored by the Canton Chamber of Commerce and the Canton Downtown Development Authority and a tradition for 13 years, the event typically draws 500 or more people. Ticketholders get special T-shirts, and they make their rounds from stop-to-stop in shuttles or in their own cars.
Participating restaurateurs say the Crawl gives them a chance to introduce new customers to their cuisine.

“There are some great places to eat here in Canton Township and this is an event tht promotes these great eateries to our residents,” Thomas Paden, president of the Canton Chamber of Commerce, told the Observer & Eccentric.
Among the participating venues are:
4 Friends Bar & Grill, 502 Grill, Applebee’s, bd’s Mongolian Grill, Bailey’s Pub & Grille, Basement Burger Bar, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carvel Ice Cream, Chili’s, Crow’s Nest, Olga’s Kitchen, Rose’s Restaurant & Lounge, Szechuan Restaurant, TGI Friday’s, Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza, Twisted Rooster and Vintner’s Canton Winery.
