Metro Detroit Weekend Weather Forecast: Sunny, Mild
The first weekend of December will feature lots of sunshine and highs in the 40s. Find out when snow will appear in the forecast.

If you were hoping for a coating of snow to start December, you’re going to be disappointed. According to the National Weather Service, metropolitan Detroit will see a mostly sunny weekend with highs in the upper 40s.
No snow. In fact the first chance for even a hint of snow doesn’t come until Wednesday and, even then, it will likely be mixed with rain. But those that love a Winter Wonderland shouldn’t fret; winter doesn’t officially arrive until Dec. 21.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Calm wind. Friday Night: Tonight Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Light south southwest wind.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 47. South southwest wind 3 to 8 mph. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 34. West southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 46. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest around 5 mph. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
On Monday, there will be a chance of showers with a high near 52. The chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
