ANN ARBOR, MI — A motocyclist is dead after a crash involving a deer in Ann Arbor early Sunday morning, according to police.

The crash happened at 12:50 a.m. Sunday in the area of Jackson and Worden avenues in Ann Arbor, according to police.

Police said the 20-year-old Ann Arbor man was riding a motorcycle east on Jackson Avenue when he hit a deer and crashed his bike.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the University of Michigan Medical Center where he later died, according to police.
