Plymouth Library 'Offline' May 13-15, Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

1. Need to know
- Plymouth library "offline" May 13-15
The Plymouth Library is switching to a new catalog system the week of May 13. We will be "offline" May 13 through May 15 while we are configuring the computers . The new catalog will be available for use on Thursday, May 16. (For more information, click here.)

2. Local voice of the week
- Thank You Rake~N~Go Volunteers
Volunteers met at the Salvation Army Plymouth Corps for a continental breakfast and headed out into the community where they performed outdoor chores at 57 homes belonging to senior citizens and people with disabilities. (Read more here.)

3. For you information
The mail-in registration form for Summer School 2013 is now available. Mail-in registration forms for high school credit classes can be picked up at all Plymouth-Canton middle and high school general offices and counseling offices and/or can be printed from the P-CEP Summer School page. Mail-in registration begins Monday, May 6. Registration forms and payment must be post marked by June, 5 2013.
4. Save the date
- Public invited to CREW Detroit’s ‘Where’s the Property?’ program
Detroit is inviting the public to its May program, “Where’s the Property,” at St. John’s in Plymouth May 14. The program is the second of a two-part series on finding and acquiring real estate opportunities in southeast Michigan. (Read more here.)
5. Last chance
Time is running out to buy your tickets. Hear U-M play-by-play announcer and former football player Jim Brandstatter regale us with his exciting stories of U-M sports while also supporting a scholarship fund and enjoying a great dinner with fellow alumni and fans. Raffle for great prizes like a football signed by Coach Brady Hoke. Tickets on website.
