The Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans Will Be Hosting A BBQ Steak Dinner At The Plymouth VFW Post
Our Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans are happy to announce the return of a community favorite. Their BBQ Steak Dinners return on June 20th.
The men and women at the Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans, Chapter 528, are kindly inviting our community to an old-fashioned Steak BBQ on June 20th. This will be the first Steak BBQ event of the year, and they are building on the success from the last two years that these events have been held.
This year's first Steak BBQ will held be on Friday, June 20th, and will go from 5:00-7:00 PM. This
event will be held at the newly renovated Leon Suchorski Memorial BBQ & Pavilion, in the picnic area of the Plymouth VFW Post, at 1426 S Mill Street. The weather is supposed to be spectacular on Friday, so come on out and enjoy a great dinner with our veterans and community members!
You can eat your dinner at the picnic tables under the covered pavilion, or it can be served to you
in the VFW Lounge, so you never have to worry about any weather issues! Our veterans always have you covered!

Last summer's Steak BBQ events were wildly successful because of the amazing BBQ skills of our
grill-masters, as well as the wonderful support from our veteran's wives, and many other volunteers. Bottom line: Our Vietnam Veterans know how to grill meat and grill it to perfection!
Vietnam Veteran, Bob Dew conceived of this event three years ago and has run it every year since. He's received such great feedback from both our veterans, and our community, that he immediately decided to make these Steak BBQ's a yearly event saying, “I loved the camaraderie among our members who worked so hard to make them successful, but the best thing about them was the community atmosphere. We love being involved with the community, and these BBQs are a great way for folks to come on out, meet us, and see the things that we do.”

This summer's steaks are beautiful Delmonico Steaks, seasoned to perfection, and cooked exactly the way you like your steak. You'll also get a baked potato with sour cream & butter if you want it, a fabulous vegetable medley, and roll/butter with your steak dinner. There will be plenty of cold beverages of any variety for sale as well.
