Plymouth Travel Agency Reports Hacked Computer System

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Plymouth Township Police met Oct. 30 at the station with an employee at Travel Leaders who reported someone hacking into the business’ operating system that allows the travel agency to buy airline tickets for customers.

According to the employee, someone fraudulently bought four airline tickets to Dakar, Senegal, and Casablanca, Morocco, according to the report.

The employee told police there were four names on the tickets and she did not recognize the names, the report said.

The airline canceled the return-flight tickets for the four individuals who had flown from Dakar to Casablanca, the report said.
