Plymouth VFW Begins Friday Fish Fry's
Not only is this an important fundraiser for our local veterans, but the Fish Fry's are a great community event. Details below.

The Plymouth VFW Post is beginning another year of offering Fish Fry's on Fridays during Lent. They do a wonderful job, cook amazing food, and offer a great variety of menu options. This is a very important fund raiser for our veterans, but more importantly, a great community event.
Our local veterans are hoping that the Plymouth-Canton community will come on out, to support our local veterans, and enjoy an awesome dinner, cooked up by our veterans, their families, and supporters! These folks cook the best fish in town, and they love to have our community show up, for some great food, and more importantly, a great time, spent with our veterans, and the folks in our community.
I know every single one of the folks that work their tails off to make these Fish Fry's possible, and I know one thing to be true. They are not doing it, simply as a fundraiser. They are all working these events, because they truly believe that these Fish Fry's are what brings our community together. While our veterans like seeing people enjoy a great fish dinner, they absolutely love seeing our community come together, and enjoy a couple hours together, sharing a meal, and having fun conversations with their fellow neighbors.

The first Lenten Fish Fry will be on Friday, February 16th. The Fish Fry's are from 4:30-7:00 PM. You can have your fish fried or baked, you can get Cod or Walleye, or if you are not in the mood for fish, there are also Chicken Tender Dinners, and Shrimp Dinners.
You can eat your dinner at the banquet hall, the lounge, or if you prefer, they will gladly pack your dinners to go as well. While you are at the Fish Fry, you will want to be sure to visit the dessert table, where you will find a huge assortment of homemade baked goods, all for the very cheap price of one dollar a piece. I call this the “Buck-A-Pop-Table” and I recommend that you bring a five dollar bill with you, and take some goodies home. I am also given to understand that they'll also have the spinning wheel going, for folks who are feeling lucky!
