Segways Roll into Plymouth with Seg Adventures
Segways are rolling into Plymouth as a local couple bring the ultimate segway experience to Plymouth.
John and Megan Smith took a Segway tour while on vacation and had such a great time they decided to open their own company.
Seg Adventures provides the ultimate Segway rental experience, offering self-guided tours as well as guided group tours. John, who was born and raised in Plymouth, wanted to bring something unique to the residents and culture of Plymouth.
Some of the key points of interest included in guided tours are the Alter Motor Car Factory, Daisy Air Rifle Headquarters and the infamous Wilcox House, a sprawling Queen Anne-style mansion where the president and founder of the King Air Rifle Co. openly kept a mistress around the turn of the 20th century.

The tours are taken on wide, smooth shoulder roads and bicycle paths, allowing riders to feel safe while on their tours, the Smiths say.
Guests are also urged to visit many of the quaint shops, restaurants and taverns around town, such as Kemnitz Candies for some chocolates and frozen yogurt.
