Northbound I-275 remained closed through rush hour as troopers and a Michigan State Police accident reconstructionist investigated the crash. The ramp to northbound I-275 from I-94 was also closed to help with the investigation.

“This is a tragic incident that is amplified with the holiday season,” police said in the news release. “MSP is asking all motorists to pay attention while driving and eliminate distractions until you reach your destination safely.”
