Tie Dye, Yoga, Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Plymouth and Canton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Plymouth and Canton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

  • Rep. Bentivolio's Mobile Office
The office of Congressman Kerry Bentivolio (R-MI 11th) will have its mobile office at the Plymouth Cultural Center June 17-21. The mobile office is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and can help constituents with their questions and concerns about the federal government. Constituents can also order flags for special events or funerals. The mobile office is operated by staff from Rep. Bentivolio’s district office. (Click here for more information).

      3. For the kids
      • Tie Dye at the Plymouth District Library
      Students entering 6th grade and up are invited to a tie dying program at the Plymouth District Library on Wednesday at 3 pm. Bring a washed, 100% cotton t-shirt and wear old clothes. The event will take place out of doors. Refreshments will be served. Registration is required, call 734-453-0750, x 4. (Click here for more information

      • Yoga for sore backs and better posture
      Softstone Yoga will host a class Monday at 10 a.m. Located within Rejuvenation Fitness, the class is therapeutic and good for muscular strain, sciatica, slipped disc, and general stress reduction and health.

      5. Save the Date
      • Golf Outing to benefit Heather Favazza-Costa, the 21-year-old widow of Jordan Costa who died the day after his wedding.
      A golf outing to benefit the widow of Jordan Costa will be held at Links at Gateway Golf Course in Romulus on Saturday: four person teams, scramble at 8 a.m., shot gun start.
