Tim Walz Will Attend Michigan-Minnesota Football Game Saturday

ANN ARBOR, MI — Vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will be in Ann Arbor Saturday for a campaign event and the Michigan football game, according to campaign officials.
Walz will be in Ann Arbor Saturday morning to talk to students about the importance of voting and registering to vote ahead of the game, according to campaign officials.
He will also Superior Charter Township, where he will kick off a voter registration engagement with students, organizers and Michigan leaders before the game, according to campaign officials.

Walz, a former high school football coach, will also be in attendance at the Minnesota-Michigan rivalry game Saturday at the Big House. The two schools compete for the Little Brown Jug trophy, one of the oldest in the Big Ten conference.
The No. 12 Wolverines (3-1) are coming off an impressive 27-24 victory over the USC Trojans last Saturday, while the unranked Golden Gophers (2-2) are reeling after a 31-14 conference loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes.
