A man was shot dead over the weekend in Oakland County, according to sheriff's officials.
PONTIAC, MI — A man was shot dead over the weekend in Oakland County, according to sheriff's officials.
A witness called police after discovering a bullet hole through the back door of a home in the 80 block of Wall Street in Pontiac. Officers did not find any anyone injured at the home, officials said.
While officers were investigating, they got another call about a man who had been shot in the 200 block of Osmun Street, officials said.

There, officers found a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, officials said.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, officials said.

A 41-year-old Waterford Township man was arrested in connection with the shooting, officials said.
