4 Arrested After Stolen Car Police Chase In Oakland County: Sheriff
The suspects were each placed in the Oakland County Jail as charges were pending.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Four people were arrested Thursday morning after a police chase involving a stolen car in Rochester Hills, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
Officers were called at 6 a.m. to the 1500 block of Pembroke on reports of multiple people trying to break into parked cars, officials said.
When officers arrived in the area, officials said they found the group inside a stolen car. They tried to stop the car, but the driver sped away, leading officers on a chase, officials said.

Officers chased the car to an intersection near Livernois and Avon Road where the driver of the stolen car lost control and crashed, officials said.
Four people then got out of the car and fled on foot, officials said.

Officials set up a perimeter and eventually caught all four suspects with the help of a K9 team and drone unit, officials said.
Officials identified the four suspects as Detroit men in their early to mid-twenties. They were each placed in the Oakland County Jail as charges were pending.
"This case is an excellent example of teamwork and the use of our specialized resources to protect the community," Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said. "Deputies, K9, and drone units worked seamlessly to quickly apprehend all four suspects. We remain committed to holding those who victimize our residents accountable."
