Deputies Revive Oakland County Man With Narcan: Police
A man found his friend lying unconscious and not breathing on the kitchen floor, Deputies say.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — An unconscious 40-year-old Oakland County man was successfully revived with Narcan, according to a police report.
The incident happened on Jan. 30 at 4:56 a.m. Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies were summoned to the 100 block of Mark Ave. in Pontiac. A man had call 9-1-1 to report that he discovered his friend - AKA the victim - unconscious and not breathing, lying on the kitchen floor of the residence, according to Deputies.
Once on the scene, Deputies conferred with the friend, who reportedly had gone to the victim's house to offer a tattoo service, according to the police report. Deputies say the friend said the victim is a heroin user and had gone into the bathroom to use heroin. A few minutes later, the friend found the victim lying on the kitchen floor and that's when he called 9-1-1 and conducted CPR on the victim until Deputies and paramedics arrived, according to the police report.

Deputies administered a dose of Narcan to the victim, which revived him. The victim then reportedly began breathing on his own and was taken to McLaren Hospital - Oakland for further evaluation.
