Downtown Yard Sale

You can take a piece of Main Street home with you at the final Downtown Rochester Yard Sale on Sept. 15. The sale will include all items removed from Main Street as a part of the Makeover, including fire hydrants, traffic signals, railroad tie remnants, lightpoles, Main Street bricks and much more.

Trolley tracks, recently removed from Rochester, will also be for sale: $25 for a 6-inch piece.

“The Main Street Makeover has provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our community” stated Kristi Trevarrow, Executive Director of the Rochester DDA. “We are so pleased that we are able provide our residents a chance toown a piece of Rochester’s history.”

All items will be available for purchase both days on afirst-come, first-serve basis. The sale will be held at the Municipal Training Center, off Letica Drive.

  • Parking Meters $150 (Double)

  • Seasonal Lightpole Disks $50 
  • Sidewalk Brick Pavers $.25 (limit 100) 
  • Street Signs $50 
  • Traffic Signals $250
  • 6-inch pieces of trolley tracks $25

Large quantities of the Main Street Bricks and Sidewalk Pavers are available.
