Meijer Opens 2 New Stores In Oakland, Macomb Counties

Meijer is opening up two new grocery stores Thursday in Oakland and Macomb counties.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Two new Meijer grocery stores are opening Thursday in Oakland and Macomb counties.

The grocery new stores will be in Lake Orion and Macomb Township. Both stores open Thursday at 6 a.m.

The Lake Orion store is located at 1107 S. Lapeer Road and the Macomb Township store is at 15375 24 Mile Road.

Both stores are between 75,000 and 90,000 square feet, which is smaller than a typical Meijer, but these new stores specifically designed to give customers a more convenient shopping experience.

The two new stores also include a full-service deli, drive-thru pharmacy, health and beauty as well as other grocery options. They also have mPerks, shop and scan, and Meijer’s home delivery and pickup services.
