Missing Oakland County Woman Found Dead: Sheriff
Officials said the woman had been missing for nearly two weeks.
PONTIAC, MI — A missing Pontiac woman was found dead Thursday, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
A family member found the body of 63-year-old Vivian Ann Powell at 3 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Pontiac, according to the sheriff's office.
Officials said Powell was fully clothed and wearing a coat. Investigators said there were no signs of trauma or foul play, and do not immediately know how she died.

An autopsy was performed Friday, but the results were still pending, according to the sheriff's office.
A family member reported her missing on Wednesday after she was last seen on Dec. 3, according to the sheriff's office.

She also had a history of being gone for several days, according to the sheriff's office.
Family members also told officials that Powell has had significant health issues.
Officials had been actively searching for Powell at locations she was known to frequent, the sheriff's office said, and had worked to contact her friends and acquaintances. A law enforcement bulletin was also sent out to surrounding law enforcement agencies when she was reported missing.
