Movie Night Hosted In Rochester Hills
"Smallfoot" will be Rochester Hills' next Family Movie Night on Sept. 6.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — As part of their 2019 Family Movie Night series, the Village of Rochester Hills will be showing “Smallfoot” on Friday, Sept. 6. There will be tons of fun activities for the kids including a bounce house, face painting, popcorn, giveaways and chances to win prizes.
The fun starts at 7. p.m. and the feature film “Smallfoot” will begin at dusk. Toyology Toys will be on site passing out 10% off flyers and hosting activities and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt will also be on site selling frozen yogurt.
This year the Village of Rochester Hills is also collecting donations for ROCKit reading program during all of their movie events. ROCKit Reader is a no-cost, gently used book program where books are provided to children for free through Free Little Libraries and a local pediatric practice.

On average, they serve 3,600 children each year, addressing the basic needs of local children. Founded with three main purposes; literacy, clothing and the fulfillment of unmet needs of children; ROCKit seeks to fill the gaps of local social service agencies and augment successful programs currently underway.
Directed by Karey Kirkpatrick, “Smallfoot” is an animated adventure for all ages! With original music and an all-star cast, “Smallfoot” turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn’t exist—a human. News of this “smallfoot” throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in a rollicking story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.
