AUBURN HILLS, MI — An Auburn Hills man, who was elected to a city council seat Tuesday, died shortly after the polls closed, city officials said.
Greg Ouellette secured the fourth-most votes in a field of six candidates to make it onto the Auburn Hills City Council in Tuesday's elections. He then died "shortly after the polls closed," officials said.
Officials did not reveal the cause of Ouellette's death. The City Council will pay tribute to him at their Nov. 17 meeting, officials said.
