Oxford HS Shooting Report Will Be Released Monday: Investigators
The report will be released to district officials and the public at the same time, according to Guidepost Solutions.

OXFORD, MI — An independent report into the deadly Oxford school shooting will be released Monday, according to the firm conducting the investigation.
The report, led by Guidepost Solutions (an independent investigations firm based in New York), is expected to answer what district officials may have known about the shooter before he fatally shot four students and wounded seven other people in the Nov. 30, 2021 attack.
The four students killed in the shooting were 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana, 16-year-old Tate Myre, 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin and 17-year-old Justin Shilling.

Guidepost investigators will also hold public question-and-answer sessions on Nov. 2 at 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at a non-district location. The firm did not announce a location.
Oxford school officials hired the firm to investigate the events related to the shooting after rejecting an independent investigation by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, drawing backlash from the community.
Nessel first offered to conduct the independent review in December 2021 and then again in April 2022, all at the cost of her office, but Oxford School officials rejected that offer both times.
Ethan Crumbley, 17, pleaded guilty to 24 counts, including four counts of first-degree premeditated murder and terrorism in connection to the Oxford school shooting in November 2021. He will be sentenced Dec. 8.
His parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley, were each charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the deadly Oxford school shooting. Their trial is expected to start on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, in Oakland County.
