Pack Your Paddles for Saturday's Splash of Fun

Paddlers will take to the water this weekend for fun, scenery and of course, a droplet of friendly competition.

The 8th Annual Paddlepalooza will take place Saturday on an 8-mile stretch of the Clinton River, beginning at Riverside Park in downtown Auburn Hills and ending at the Rivercrest Banquet Center at Avon and Livernois roads. The event includes a race for seasoned paddlers — canoe and kayak — or a shorter "adventure paddle."

Paddlepalooza is co-sponsored by the cities of Rochester Hills and Auburn Hills.
