Researchers Say Rochester Hills Is One Of The Best Places To Buy A Forever Home

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Rochester Hills isn't just a good place to call home sweet home, it's also a good place to call home sweet forever home. The city just earned a top spot on a list of the best places to buy a forever home, according to a new study by the personal finance website GoodCall.com.

Researchers from GoodCall.com analyzed 509 cities across the U.S. Each city was measured on seven factors: affordability, home value growth, population growth, crime rate, unemployment rate, and education (the percentage of people with a high school degree and percentage of people with a college degree).

The result? Rochester Hills was listed as the 11th best place to buy a forever home. The city earned high scores for its affordability, home value growth, sky high education rate, and low unemployment and crime.

Also representing Michigan and landing prime spots on the best place to buy a forever home list include Troy (25th place) and Ann Arbor (45th place).
