Road Rage Leads To Rochester Hills Man's Arrest
A 45-year-old Rochester Hills man was arrested after a road rage incident on M-59 Monday afternoon.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A 45-year-old Rochester Hills man was arrested after a road rage incident on M-59 Monday afternoon. Oakland County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of John R and Auburn roads after being called via 911 by a 55-year-old Macomb Township man.
He told deputies that the Rochester Hills man, who was driving a white VW Jetta, pointed a gun at him as he passed him on eastbound M-59 from northbound Rochester Road. The victim then followed the Rochester man while relaying information to the Sheriff’s dispatch center.
Minutes later, deputies located both vehicles stopped in a parking lot. Deputies found a .40 cal. semi-automatic pistol tucked in the Rochester Hills man’s waistband, arrested him and impounded his car. According to Sheriff’s office reports, the 45-year-old Rochester Hills man was then taken to the Oakland County Jail. Charges are pending against him.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred at approximately 3:08 p.m.
