Rochester Hills Fireworks Scheduled For June 28

Rochester Hills "Festival of the Hills' will include one of Michigan's best fireworks shows.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Michigan’s second-largest fireworks show will be held June 28 at Borden Park in Rochester Hills as part of the community’s “Festival of the Hills.” Beyond the 40-minute fireworks show, family games, food and music will highlight the event. Attendees should bring their own chairs and blankets.

This year’s musical guests include The Rhodes Band and DJ Boji. The family activities are sponsored by the Rochester Avon Recreation Authority, the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Department and the Rochester Hills Public Library. Each year, the event draws approximately 50,000 attendees.
“If you’ve never been, you have got to check out our premier event, held each and every year at Borden Park,” Mayor Bryan Barnett said in a statement. “With food, fun and entertainment for all, there is sure to be something for everyone.”
