Rochester Hills Hosts Free Summer Movie Nights

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — It’s time for a free movie night in Rochester Hills.

As part of their 2019 Family Movie Night series, the Village of Rochester Hills will be showing “Smallfoot”on Friday, July 19. The event is free and open to the public.

There will be tons of fun activities for the kids including a bounce house, Kona Ice food truck, popcorn, giveaways and chances to win prizes. The fun starts at 7 p.m. and the feature film “Smallfoot” will begin at dusk. The third and final film in this series will be “Incredibles 2” on Friday, Aug. 16.

This year the Village of Rochester Hills is also collecting donations for ROCKit reading program during all of their movie events! ROCKit! Reader is a no-cost, gently used book program where books are provided to children for free through Free Little Libraries and a local pediatric practice. On average, they serve 3,600 children each year.Please show them some community love and donate some used books! ROCKit addresses the basic needs of local children. Founded with three main purposes; literacy, clothing and the fulfillment of unmet needs of children; ROCKit seeks to fill the gaps of local social service agencies and augment successful programs currently underway.
