The millage is not a tax increase, but a continuation of the current funding that RARA receives from the residents of Rochester Hills. It will authorize a tax levy of 0.1802 mills over the next 10 years beginning in 2026. In other words, the owner of a home with a market value of $400,000 and a taxable value of $200,000 would pay approximately $36.04 per year.
The RARA millage has been renewed three times since 1976.
Vote totals are unofficial until they are certified by county election officials, which can take up to 14 days.
