Rochester Hills Resident Michael "Mike" Terry Armstrong Dies

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Rochester Hills resident Michael Terry Armstrong died from pancreatic cancer at home in Rochester Hills on Thursday, Oct. 14th.

Armstrong, 47, commonly went by Mike and was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, son, grandson, uncle, cousin, friend and co-worker.

Armstrong was born on April 25, 1974 to Annette Powell and the late Terry Armstrong in Mt Clemens. He was a proud worker at Praet Tool and Engineering, where he worked his way up from floor sweeper to mechanical engineer over the course of 25 years. He considered many of his co-workers friends and family.

Armstrong is survived by his wife Billie, his son, Michael Jr, mother Annette Powelll, grandmother Clara Sprung, stepson Robert Gray, grandkids Addyson and Steven Gray, as well as many of his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per Armstrong's wishes, there will be a celebration of life after the burial of his cremains alongside his grandfather Kenneth. A Date and time will be announced at a later date.
