Rochester Musicians Academy Owner Says Music Can Benefit All Ages

Joe J Chila is known as the drum guy, but musicians can learn all rhythm instruments with the Rochester Musicians Academy.

Chila loves all music and believes it can provide big benefits for all ages. 

He recently submitted information about through the Patch Small Business Spotlight.

How did your business come to be?

I have a PASSION for Music and Drumming, and ALL THE proven BENEFITS
that it has for anyone, and any age. At that time, back in 1988 there was very little music stores or schools run by working musicians in the area. I thought
it might be a good opportunity to create a unique business. 

What's your most popular product or service?

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?

We teach all RHYTHM INSTRUMENTS.....Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Percussion and Vocals! Our dynamic group of teachers specialize in people. Finding the music in all kids and adults, no matter what age, race, or music they like!

What does your business offer? 

Although I began as a specialty percussion center and school, we have grown into a Professional Music Academy now offering lessons on Piano, Voice, Guitar, and Bass giving by PROFESSIONAL musicians.

When was the business founded?

1988

Why did you choose the area you did?

It was my path in life. I did nothing but practice through my school years and had so many opportunities to perform, jam, and make money in music. Never thought of doing anything else.
