'Tools of World War I' Presented Thursday

Local historian Jim Cassell will make his presentation at the Rochester Hills Museum.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be hosting a Veterans Day program on Thursday. Local historian Jim Cassell will present “Tools of World War I” from 7-9 p.m

Included in the presentation will be many different tools of war: grenades, rifles, edged weapons, helmets, trench art and much more. This year marks the 100th anniversary of America’s entry into the “Great War,” which started in 1914 and ended in 1918.

The museum is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road in Rochester Hills. There is no cost to attend the presentation for Veterans and museum members. The cost for the general public is just $5. Register to attend.
