Woman Arrested on Drug Paraphernalia, Drunken-Driving Charges
Sterling Heights woman, 20, held overnight after incident in Rochester.

Rochester Police stopped a vehicle early on July 24 that had been backing up into the middle of the road several times at Dequindre and Parkdale before heading out on Dequindre at a high rate of speed, according to a police report.
According to the report, police clocked the vehicle going 55 mph in a 45 mph area and noticed the driver weaving in and out of her lane before being pulled over.
The driver completed a number of field sobriety evaluations along with a preliminary breath test, which led to an arrest on a charge of operating while intoxicated, the report indicated. Inside the vehicle, officers located open alcohol bottles and drug paraphernalia, according to police. The driver was a 20-year-old Sterling Heights woman.
Police held the woman in the Rochester lockup overnight until she was sober. She was charged with operating while intoxicated, transporting alcohol by a person under 21 and possession of narcotic equipment, the report indicated.
