Film Society Hosts Michigan Premiere of 'The Dirties'

The Royal Oak Film Society and Slamdance on the Road is pleased to announce the Michigan premiere of 2013 Slamdance Film Festival winner of Best Narrative Feature, “The Dirties”.  The Main Art Theater in downtown Royal Oak will be the host facility for the event on Wednesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. 

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mandy’s Brain Fund. This is a fund that was set-up to help support the medical costs of Mandy Wilson, a strong supporter of Slamdance Film Festival who is recovering from a depressed skull fracture.

The Royal Oak Film Society is, a non-profit corporation whose mission is to enrich and promote Greater Detroit’s creative culture through film, conversation, and community.

The Director/Lead Actor and Producer of “The Dirties” will be at the event to do a Q&A session after the premiere. Mitten Movie Project short LOVE SUCCINCTLY Directed by Anna Fleury will be shown before the "The Dirties"
