One of the largest gatherings in downtown Ferndale happens each June with the Gay Pride Festival, set this year for Saturday June 1 on W. Nine Mile Road. GLBT and allies from all over Metro Detroit will come to Ferndale for the street festival, the Chamber’s “Rainbow Run”, the Dyke March, and numerous other dinners, parties, and events.
