in Royal Oak will host a recruitment event noon-3 p.m. Aug. 13 for volunteers to participate in the Arts, Beats & Eats festival Labor Day weekend. Snacks, drinks, music and free ice cream from Hudsonville Creamery & Ice Cream Co. will be provided.
Volunteers can sign up for various positions, including operating the gates and information booths, greeting crowds, providing booth coverage for artists on break, aiding children with arts and craft projects, helping with environmental efforts, among other jobs.
