Royal Oak Plumbing Supply Buisness Celebrates 50 Years

Delwood Supply Co. (www.delwood-supply.com) is commemorating their 50th Anniversary of serving plumbing professionals in Southeast Michigan with a summer-long celebration. The company is honoring the occasion by developing personalized clothing apparel for its employees and customers. Delwood is also celebrating with “Customer Appreciation BBQ’s” for all their plumbing customers.

“Our customers are like family to us, they are the reason for our success” stated Mark Fisher, President of Delwood Supply, “it’s only natural to celebrate this occasion with them.”

Since 1963, Delwood has been the plumbing professional’s right-hand resource for plumbing parts, plumbing tools and unique plumbing solutions. With a “When no one else has it, Delwood will” philosophy and an in-depth of knowledge of plumbing products, Delwood has become the plumber’s indispensable answer-man throughout Southeast Michigan.

“Our secret to success is in having the answer and materials our plumbing customers need. They trust us and count on us.” said Fisher, “For 50 years, we’ve prided ourselves on honest, outstanding service for our plumbing customers. Now its time to celebrate our heritage with our employees and customers.”

Founded by Joe Fisher and Ralph Long, Delwood Supply Co. began as an off-shoot of Warren Plumbing Supply in 1963. Shortly after, Walter Deanna joined Joe, adding another level of expertise. Very quickly, Delwood Supply became known as the plumber’s preferred resource by providing unsurpassed product knowledge and customer service.

“When we started we did business on a handshake and good old fashion hard work.

That hasn’t changed in 50 years,” quoted Founder, Joe Fisher, “I am proud to say that Delwood is still taking care of our customers the way we did 50 years ago,” he added.

In 1974, Joe’s son, Mark, joined the business, ensuring another generation of plumbing knowledge and service. To meet demand and to expand service for Delwood plumbing customers, Mark opened a second location in Livonia, MI in 1994. Currently, Mark serves as President of Delwood Supply Co.
