WWII Vets Invited to Honor Flight Documentary Screening

Royal Oak-based Honor Flight Michigan is seeking World War II veterans from throughout the state of Michigan and their families to attend its Memorial Day tribute at the . 

This special event will include the premiere of the Honor Flight documentary film, release of its commemorative book and kickoff for its fund-raising drive to build a permanent monument in honor of all Michigan servicemen and servicewomen who served our country during World War II. 

The program also will include a color guard, military re-enactors and 16-year-old Rachael Wojta of Berkley singing the National Anthem.

Doors open at noon. World War II veterans will be admitted free of charge. General admission is $10.
