Bras for a Cause Fashion Show, Zoo Brew and More this Weekend

1. Drink beer at the Detroit Zoo’s third annual Zoo Brew on Friday from 6 to 10:30 p.m. The event will sample more than 80 beers from select Michigan craft breweries, starting with a beer welcome courtesy of Atwater Brewery. Tickets are available for $40 online or at the gate.
2. Laugh with Willie Barcena at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castlethis weekend. Show time is 8 p.m. and 10:30 Friday; 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $18.
3. Stroll through Tenhave Woods and enjoy nature. The 22-acre nature preserve on Lexington Boulevard next to Quickstad Park is home to 40 species of deciduous trees, as well as wildflowers, mammals, birds, and amphibians.
4. Tutti mangiare! Luigi Cutraro brings authentic Italian cuisine to your table in downtown Royal Oak. Try the gnocchi casarecci at Trattoria da Luigi, 415 S. Washington. Delizioso!
5. Bras for a Cause is a unique live and silent auction, and cancer survivor art bra fashion show at the Royal Oak Music Theatre from 6-10 p.m. Saturday. All proceeds benefit Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit. Tickets are $50 at the door.
