Cancer Diagnosis Encourages Royal Oak Resident to Pursue Dream Job

After doctors diagnosed Royal Oak resident Melissa Collins with cancer, she decided it was time to chase her dream.

She opened Photography by Melissa in Royal Oak and pursued her love of photography.

What does your business offer? 

I am an on location, natural light photographer, specializing in families, babies, high school seniors, and more! I offer professional prints, high resolution cd's.

I love what I do!

How did your business come to be? 

I have a passion for photography and after a cancer diagnosis, I decided to make my dream a reality.

Why did you choose the area you did?

I live in Royal Oak, but grew up in Flushing, Michigan. I travel all over Michigan for my clients! I love Michigan!
