Center Street Restaurant Broken Into, Cash Stolen
Royal Oak Police reported a break-ins at Tokyo Sushi & Grill and a home since Aug. 24.

ROYAL OAK, MI — A pair of break-ins were reported at a Royal Oak home and a business. On Monday, someone stole jewelry from a home in the 1800 block of E. Lincoln between 10:25 a.m. and 3:42 p.m., according to a police report. Police do not have a suspect in the case.
The Tokyo Sushi & Grill at 315 S. Center Street was broken into early Sunday morning. A manager of the restaurant told police the front door was broken and cash stolen from the register.
In all, Royal Oak Police made 32 arrests between Aug. 24-31. Here’s a look at other incidents:

3600 block of Crooks, 8-25-17 – 8-29-17, 6:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole his 2015 Green Kawasaki motorcycle from the parking lot.
1800 block of Chester, 8-25-17, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.: Complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole his 2016 Red Honda motorcycle from parking lot.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle
1700 block of E. Eleven Mile, 8-28-17, 11:20 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole three (3) chainsaws from the back of a work truck parked in the street.
3000 block of N. Vermont Ave., 8-29-17 – 8-30-17, 11:45 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2003 Lincoln and stole several credit cards from a wallet.
2800 block of Normandy Rd., 8-29-17 – 8-30-17, 8:30 p.m. – 8:15 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) broke the driver’s side window of her 2007 Volkswagen and stole an iPad and some softball equipment. 17-31983
Larceny
110 S. Main Street (Leo’s Coney Island), 8-27-17, 7:45 p.m. – 10:21 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole his unlocked red mountain bike from the rear of the business.
Malicious Destruction of Property
100 block of W. Third St., 8-22-17 – 8-24-17, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) painted graffiti on an exterior window.
