City May Schedule 3rd Leaf Pick Up Day

ROYAL OAK, MI — While this fall’s relatively warm weather has been a treat for Royal Oak residents, it has also played a little bit of havoc with the city’s leaf collection efforts. Two collections have been held, but a significant number of leaves are still on the trees.

City leaders are hoping to get a third collection in before the snow starts to fly. But that’s totally dependent on weather, according to a post on Royal Oak’s Facebook page.

In the meantime, residents can put yard waste out in the appropriate containers through the week of Dec. 11 on their normal trash day.
