Fall Art Explored: Public Art Takes Shape in Royal Oak

New works of art to be unveiled this fall.

More public art is on the way for downtown Royal Oak.

Five artists have been selected for the Fall Art Explored Series by the Royal Oak Commission for the Arts (ROCFA). Their pieces will join work by Brian Brook ( “A Really Big Guitar” at Fourth an Main) and Richard Gage ("Petal Parts" on the north side of the Royal Oak Public Library).

Art Explored is a program of the ROCFA, sponsored by the Arts, Beats, and Eats Foundation. Artists are chosen by ROCFA to have their work displayed in downtown Royal Oak for up to a year. If the pieces are sold while on display, ROCFA receives a 25 percent commission on the work to support the future of the program.
