HopCat Restaurant Is Getting Closer To Hopping Into Royal Oak

HopCat received its liquor license - a major feat - for the Royal Oak location.

ROYAL OAK, MI — HopCat Restaurant is getting closer and closer to setting up shop in Royal Oak.

The inventive restaurant, which is prized for creating delicacies such as its cherished "crack fries," received a liquor license - a crucial element for its business operations, the Daily Tribune reports.

HopCat's new Royal Oak home will be in the heart of downtown at 208 W. Fifth St. The restaurant will be three stories and include a rooftop beer garden (HopCat is celebrated for its expansive and unique beer offerings). The restaurant plans to open in early 2017. Royal Oak will be the 13th HopCat location.
