Hotel Development, Interstate 696/Main Street Property and More on the Agenda
The Downtown Development Authority meets Wednesday to cover a variety of topics.
The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will meet on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at City Hall regarding several items involving the 4.15-acre parcel at Interstate 696 and Main Street, which is owned by the DDA and has been vacant for more than 17 years.
On the meeting agenda:
- Detroit Zoological Society parking agreement for overflow parking at the I-696/Main Street site
- Water Works Theatre's request to install two signs from June 15 through Aug. 12 at the I-696/Main Street site
- West Bloomfield-based Singh Development LLC will present an initial concept for a multi-unit residential complex at the I-696/Main Street site

- Discussion of the I-696/Main Street site proposals and process
- Façade application for the Royal Oak Brewery
