Lady Knights Crowned District Volleyball Champs

Shrine hosts the Class C, District 75 tournament.

The Royal Oak Shrine Catholic varsity girls volleyball team hosted the Class C, District 75 tournament and were crowned District champs Thursday night.

The Lady Knights pounced on West Bloomfield Frankel (3-0) and Wixom St. Catherine (3-1) to take the first-place plaque with a winning score of 25 to 20. 

Next up is the Class C, Regional 20 at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Madison Heights Bishop Foley where the Lady Knights will take on Friday's Class C, District 74 winner - either University Liggett or Detroit DEPSA Early College.
